In 2006, Michael began working with Linton, of The Aislers Set. He was asked to contribute to an acoustic set of Aislers Set songs at Northsix in Brooklyn. He continued working with Linton on some of their new songs and later that year joined them onthe first leg of tour in Scandanavia, opening for The Ladybug Transistor. Linton and Michael continued to work together in New York and performed at Union Hall, Brooklyn and The Lompoc, Bar Harbor, Maine in 2007.
