Hey Willpower
Hey Willpower is the R&B/Pop project from Will Schwartz of Imperial Teen and Tomo Yasuda of Tussle.
I remember seeing them a few years ago at El Rio in San Francisco, but became most familiar with
Hey Willpower in early 2008. I was on tour as roadie for MEN (originally the DJ team of JD and Jo from Le Tigre)
and Hey Willpower was the supporting act.
Later that year, Will asked me to fill in for Tomo for a few shows, since he would be on tour with
Tussle at the time. I joined Will for a show at The Hideout in Chicago and one at Glasslands in Brooklyn.
