Putting the Balls Away

Created by Tara Mateik.

In November 2006 I participated in Tara Mateik’s Putting the Balls Away:
alive/video inter-active re-enactment of Billie Jean and Bobby Riggs’ ”Battle of the Sexes”
at the Guggenheim Museum. I worked with Tara as the sound designer for the piece,
creating re-makes of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” and “Anything You Can Do”
from Annie Get your Gun. The songs were redone with the essence of a an Atari game
and low-fi electronic programming.
